Nestled in the scenic bluffs of Taylors Falls, The Trailhouse at Serendipity is where forest air, quiet mornings, and the crackle of evening campfires come together. This peaceful getaway is just steps from the St. Croix River and the beloved trails of Interstate State Park.

 

Designed with intention, the Trailhouse blends modern comfort with rustic charm. Whether you’re here for a weekend escape or a longer reset, you’ll find inviting living spaces, calming views, and bedrooms that feel like a warm hug after a day outside.

🌲 The Trailhead (Main Level)

​

A calm, grounded space facing the woods. Great for early risers or anyone who loves a slow morning with coffee and birdsong. (Sleeps 2)

 

 

🌅 The Overlook (Main Level)

​

Named after our friend Mark who always knew the value of a good nap. This sunset-facing room offers warmth, comfort, and a view of the backyard. (Sleeps 2)

 

 

🌊 The Falls View (Upper Level)

​

A bright, airy space with views of the river valley. It’s part workspace, part daydream zone — perfect for remote work or weekend lounging. (Sleeps 4)

 

 

🌞 The Sunset Nook (Upper Level)

​

A tucked-away cozy corner kissed by golden hour light. Feels like the last page of your favorite book. (Sleeps 2)

 

P.S. There’s also a full bedding set for the sleeper sofa, bundled neatly in the closet where the sofa is placed — sheets, pillow, and blanket all included.

Step outside to breathe in the pine and maple-scented air. The backyard invites s’mores around the fire pit, games of bocce or bags, and stargazing under a wide Minnesota sky. Whether you’re sipping local wine or just enjoying the stillness, it’s a space that slows time.

  • Check-in: Anytime after 3:00 PM (keyless entry)

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM

  • Security: Outdoor cameras only (front door, yard, and garage-facing street)

  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

With only two steps to enter and a full bedroom and bath on the main level, the Trailhouse is welcoming to all ages and needs. The layout is easy to navigate without feeling cramped.

  • Driveway: Fits 2 cars

  • Street: More spots typically available around the corner on Maple Street

  • Extra: Room for bikes or a small trailer
